Aquitaine Region is a regional authority and works daily with other institutions (local and regional) to define and develop together the regional territory.

800 people and around 3000 with specific personal from regional schools (competence transfer from the State).

The competencies of Aquitaine Region are numerous (Research, Local development, Education, economic development…). It implements European projects in all these fields and more specifically in environment, agriculture and tourism sectors. One of these projects is APSAT.

In the framework of APSAT, Aquitaine will develop operational applications and services in the forest and coastal zones topics.
